Mozilla Sunbird calendar application

Mozilla Sunbird

is a cross-platform calendar application, built upon Mozilla Toolkit. Sunbird is a standalone calendar application. It doesn’t need another client application to run (small memory requirements). Because of its standalone nature, Sunbird does not offer any kind of tight integration with an e-mail application, such as Mozilla Thunderbird.

If you need integration with Thunderbird you can use Lightning (the calendar extension for Mozilla Thunderbird). It offers calendaring features directly in the Thunderbird User Interface. Further integration features, such as e-mail invites or address book integration are planned for future releases.

The newest rendering mode is forward-looking and preferred by Web designers, while the others are present to enable compatibility with the myriad sites across the Web that are currently optimized for previous versions of Internet Explorer.”

Adobe Photoshop CS4 - 64-bit only on Vista

Adobe is working on a new version of its Creative Suite, that includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and other applications for print and webdesign - Adobe CS4. The new version of Photoshop (Windows version) will support 64-bit memory addressing.

Why it will support just Windows (Vista)?

Well, Photoshop for Mac OS is written using older APIs that don’t allow access to all the latest Mac OS X features. To make a new version it will mean a total rewrite of the code and it seems Adobe doesn’t have time for that.
